Today I'm delighted to announce the launch of my ebook Shopify & You:
Shopify & You is an easy-to-use, step-by-step guide that covers everything you need to know about designing, setting up and running a truly awesome online store with Shopify.
It started out as a simple idea. I came across the story of Brett Kelly and his very successful Evernote Essentials ebook. Chris Guillibeau tells Brett Kelly's story in his inspiring book "The $100 Startup". And naturally, I heard about this book from the incredible Tim Ferriss.
So then that simple idea turned into five months of work. I've never written a book so I took on the strategy of blindly ignoring the enormity of the task involved. Each day I just focussed on writing a few more pages and over time those pages turned into chapters. And eventually those chapters turned into the final book.
I had a great team to help me along the way and without them it wouldn't have been possible. I'm very fortunate to have some great friends who chipped in to proofread the book, worked on the design of the book with me and helped me write the text for the website. The folks at Shopify have been amazing as well. Thank you very much for all your help! I go into more detail in the acknowledgements in the book, which you can see in the excerpt (from 2016).
This book is a new venture for me - the fruit of nearly six months' labor, not to mention all my years working on the web. If you know someone that could benefit from Shopify & You, please share this website with them and help me get this enterprise off to a good start!
